Describe exactly what happens
No response, lights without a picture, a brief startup followed by shutdown, and a repeating startup loop are different problems. A short video can help document the behavior.
Safe basic checks
Confirm the outlet works, reconnect the normal power cable, and disconnect newly added accessories. For a portable computer, leave it connected to known-good power for a short period before one normal attempt.
Do not keep forcing it
Stop immediately after liquid exposure, a burning smell, unusual heat, visible battery swelling, or clicking from storage. Repeated attempts can increase damage or reduce recovery options.
