1. Covered workmanship
For 30 calendar days after the paid service shown on the invoice is completed, Geek On Call will review a reported problem that is directly caused by the workmanship performed during that service.
Our limited workmanship policy explains what is covered after paid service and how to request a review.
For 30 calendar days after the paid service shown on the invoice is completed, Geek On Call will review a reported problem that is directly caused by the workmanship performed during that service.
If the review confirms covered workmanship, the remedy is re-performance of the affected labor without an additional charge for that labor. This policy does not promise a refund, replacement equipment, recovered data, or payment for work performed by someone else.
Notify Geek On Call within the 30-day period and provide the service reference or invoice number, a clear description of the problem, and reasonable access to inspect the serviced equipment.
This workmanship policy does not cover a new or unrelated failure, pre-existing damage, normal wear, failed or consumable parts, changes made after service, malicious-code reinfection, internet or environmental changes, accidental damage, customer-supplied materials, or a data-recovery result.
This policy covers Geek On Call workmanship only. Any separately stated written coverage for a supplied part will be identified in the applicable estimate or invoice and controls only that part.
Equipment condition, data integrity, outside services, and later changes can affect results. The service does not guarantee that equipment will never fail again or that every file can be preserved or recovered.
This policy provides a limited service remedy and does not remove rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
