The old connection may still be saved
After network equipment or a network name changes, the computer may continue sending jobs to an address the printer no longer uses.
A queue can hide the real problem
Several repeated jobs or one damaged document can make the printer appear unavailable. Clearing the right queue is often safer than reinstalling everything.
Test the whole path
A reliable repair checks the printer itself, the network connection, the computer's saved printer, and an actual test document. Each computer that needs to print should be verified.
